ATLANTA, Georgia — Zac Brown, a renowned country music star, has reportedly asked his estranged wife for a divorce just days after they celebrated their wedding with a private party. This news comes from Kelly Yazdi, who shared her side of the story on social media.

In a recent TikTok post, Yazdi revealed that Brown requested the divorce only nine days after their wedding party in Nashville last November. She explained that their marriage had been going well for years before the sudden split. According to Yazdi, the couple was married in August and had a joyous celebration with family and friends.

Yazdi also shared that after Brown expressed his desire for a divorce, he asked her to sign a non-disclosure agreement. This agreement would have prevented her from discussing their life or relationship publicly forever. Yazdi refused to sign it, and soon after, Brown filed for divorce in January. She claims that shortly after the divorce filing, she was dismissed from her job as executive vice president of Brown’s company.

Yazdi accuses Brown of using altered footage from their wedding party without her permission. She says this footage was used in his music video for “Beautiful Drug,” which she claims portrays her in a negative and misleading manner. Yazdi argues that the video includes scenes of a model resembling her engaged in risky behaviors, such as drug use. This has reportedly added to her distress, as she feels the video misrepresents her and damages her reputation.

Furthermore, Yazdi has filed a lawsuit against Brown, alleging misuse of their wedding video and seeking justice for the harm done. She says she will continue to fight for herself amid the ongoing and contentious divorce.

As of now, Zac Brown has not publicly responded to Yazdi’s social media statements. Brown, the frontman of the Zac Brown Band, is known for his success in country music, having won three Grammy Awards. His band has focused heavily on touring across North America, and many of their songs have appeared on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
